Reiki Sessions
““Reiki is intelligent energy; it automatically goes to where it is needed. The only thing required is that you always have the intention of allowing healing to happen. You do not control what comes, you only surrender to what Reiki already knows how to do.””
What is Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. With today’s stress and demands it’s easy for our energies to be off balance. As a Reiki practitioner I can help heal and balance in a holistic approach with powerful and gentle healing techniques that can help reduce stress, anxiety, relieve pain, release trapped emotions, strengthen the immune system and promote natural self-healing, helps you sleep, aids in releasing toxins and much more.
REIKI AT A DISTANCE
Distant Reiki healing is a remote energy healing that works no matter how far apart the sender and receiver are in the world. The distant Reiki symbol joins the Reiki practitioner and the client together in a sacred healing space. It’s as effective as an in-person session as the same energy flows to you remotely as it would in-person. All you need to do is sit/lay back and be open to receive Reiki. Reiki is intelligent energy and it will always go to where is needed.
Distance Healing Via Zoom
After you have made an appointment and paid for your session, your sessions will take place via Zoom and I'll send you that information separately, look for a calendar invite with a ZOOM link. I’ll give you an overview of the session. Next, lay down (or sit comfortably), close your eyes, breath in through your nose and out through your mouth and relax. Please pick a location where you won’t be disturbed or interrupted, pick a quiet and relaxing space.
Client experience: I did a distance session on a client suffering from sun poisoning. My client thought they would end up having a bad week because of how ill they became prior to our session. The next morning when I checked in, my client reported that they felt so much better than the night before! And that their sunburn in comparison to their spouse who didn’t receive Reiki was so different! Reiki is so powerful and yet so gentle!
REIKI FOR KIDS
Reiki sessions for children have numerous benefits. It may help with fear, anxiety, promotes feelings of safety, calmness, improve sleep, stress, concentration, pain and so much more. The session helps to enhance your child’s body’s own self-healing response-assisting the body in releasing deep-seated tensions, aiding in detoxification, and balancing mental and emotional states. It keeps children healthy and less prone to imbalances, and if they do get sick, it helps them deal with illness and recover more quickly!
REIKI FOR ANIMALS
Reiki sessions for animals have the same kind of benefits. Physical contact is not required and why it works so well at a distance just like it does with people. Often the animal experiences a deep state of calmness and peace. It may clear imbalances, allowing for new and harmonious healthy habits to be formed. Most animals usually will stay very still during a session as they are absorbing the healing energy. I’m always fascinated by how different the animal looks and asks before and after a session. You can see the results instantly in most cases.

YOU ARE ALWAYS IN CHARGE AND WE’LL WORK TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS
What happens during a Reiki treatment?
In-person sessions are primarily administered on a massage table or on a chair if you can’t lay on your back for a long period of time, with the client fully clothed and without shoes. Covered in a blanket if you choose. Your Reiki practitioner will lay their hands on your body in a series of hand positions to deliver Reiki energy. A Reiki treatment generally covers first your head then the front of your body and finally the back of your body.
Sessions are anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. All the techniques employ a very gentle touch or off the body and allows the Universal Life Force Energy (Reiki) flow from the practitioner to the client. Clients end the session feeling deeply relaxed and often report to be pain free. It has been scientifically proven that most illnesses are caused by our daily stress. Reiki helps you relax, release trauma and imbalance or even illness and allows a deep lasting healing to take place.
What does Reiki feel like?
Reiki tends to feel warm and profoundly relaxing (even at a Distance). You may feel the hands of the Reiki practitioner become hot or tingly. Some people describe a floating sensation while some see colors or shapes during the session. Some people fall asleep. Some experience emotional release. There is no expected experience—Reiki treatment is unique for each individual who receives it.
The most common results of Reiki treatment include:
• Perceived reduction in stress
• Increased relaxation
• Enhanced sense of balance, centeredness and calm.
What are the benefits of several sessions?
Just like meditation or movement arts, the effects of Reiki are cumulative. While one session can work wonders, repeated, regular Reiki treatments can invite significant improvement. As an example: if you exercise for an hour, you will receive benefit. If you exercise every day for a month, the results will be much more profound. Reiki works similarly—regular sessions support well-being in every way.
Can Reiki “cure” me?
Reiki is a complementary medical art that works well alone as well as a complement with other treatments. Healing is often the result of gentle shifts in awareness, release of emotional patterns, achievement of new understanding, and daily practice. Reiki is not a replacement for traditional medical treatment.
